About Shaded & Bladed

A permanent makeup studio built on precision, honesty, and natural results.

Meet Candra

Permanent makeup done right.

I'm Candra — the permanent makeup artist behind Shaded & Bladed. I'm a Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist and Licensed PMU Instructor in the state of Oklahoma, and a PhiBrows Certified Artist for both brows and lips.

I founded this studio with one goal: permanent makeup that looks genuinely natural. Not overdone. Not obvious. Just features that look like you — on a very good day, every day.

I work out of our studio in Tulsa at 8026 S Memorial Dr, serving clients from across the metro. I specialize in nano brows, powder brows, and lip blushing — three services I do very well, rather than every technique available.

I opened Shaded & Bladed because I kept seeing the same gap in the market: studios offering every technique available, but not truly mastering any of them. I built this studio around three services I do very well — nano brows, powder brows, and lip blushing — so every client leaves with a result I stand behind completely.

Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist — State of Oklahoma
Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist Instructor — State of Oklahoma
PhiBrows Certified Artist — Brows & Lips

Instructor credential

One of Oklahoma's licensed PMU instructors

A Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist Instructor holds a state-issued license to teach permanent makeup technique — not just perform it. In Oklahoma, this is a separate, higher-tier credential that requires additional training and examination beyond the standard practitioner license. Candra is one of a small number of artists in Oklahoma licensed to teach permanent makeup at the medical micropigmentology level.

For clients, the practical difference is precision. An artist who has trained other artists has spent thousands of hours diagnosing what goes wrong with the technique — inconsistent depth, poor pigment retention, shape miscalculation — and correcting it in real time. That diagnostic level of understanding doesn't come from performing procedures alone. It comes from teaching them.

How we work

Safety first

We follow strict sanitation protocols. All tools are single-use. We review your health history before every procedure to ensure you're a safe candidate.

Licensed & PhiBrows certified

Candra is a Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist and PMU Instructor in Oklahoma — and a PhiBrows Certified Artist for brows and lips. PhiBrows is one of the most recognized PMU certification bodies in the world.

Honest consultations

If you're not a good candidate for a procedure, we'll tell you. We don't book clients into treatments that won't serve them well.

Health & safety

Safety & sanitation

Single-use needles. Always.

We use a new, sterile, single-use needle for every client. Always. Needles are opened in front of you at the start of your appointment and disposed of immediately after. There is no exception to this.

Cross-contamination protocol

Pigment is dispensed into single-use cups before each session — the jar never contacts the client. Work surfaces are covered with fresh barriers for every appointment. Gloves are worn throughout. All reusable items are sterilized between clients.

Oklahoma state licensed

Candra holds a Licensed Medical Micropigmentologist license issued by the State of Oklahoma. This regulatory framework sets the standards for safety, sterility, and professional practice that govern every appointment at Shaded & Bladed.

Allergy & patch-test policy

If you have known sensitivities to topical pigments, numbing agents, or skincare products, disclose this at your free consultation. A patch test can be arranged before your appointment. Your safety and comfort are reviewed before any procedure begins.

Candra maintains current Bloodborne Pathogen training, covering exposure control, proper disposal of sharps and biological materials, and emergency response procedures — required for licensed practice in Oklahoma.

Individual results vary. Consult your artist for a personalized assessment before booking.
